No computer experience? No problem!
Our curriculum teaches cybersecurity from the very basics.
We've all seen it in movies—mysterious people typing furiously on their laptops as lines of green text scroll past their screens. Not always accurate, but hacking is the act (art?) of breaking into devices.
You've heard of this one too—Viruses? Ransomware? Infected devices? These are all common examples of Malware. Malware is software that can damage devices and steal their data.
Chances are, you've actually used these. Think Caesar cipher, Morse code—even Pig Latin! Of course, these are very simple examples, but the study of secure communication is called cryptography.
Cybersecurity deals with protecting computers, networks, and their data from digital attacks. But what does this involve?
Our curriculum is designed to be approachable for complete beginners. Not just beginners to cybersecurity, but to computer science as a whole.
Cybersecurity is best learned through hands-on practice. We aim to develop both practical ability and conceptual understanding.
Cybersecurity doesn't have to be boring. Students progress by completing quizzes and challenges, racking up points in the process!
Once you’ve selected a pathway, start learning from the first module! We’ve structured the content in a recommended order, but if you're already good on a certain topic, feel free to skip ahead!
Each module has lessons, quizzes, labs, and challenges to make sure you understand the content and build hands-on ability. Complete them to progress and earn points!
No problem! Our curriculum starts from the very basics of cybersecurity. Students don’t need any experience with coding, cybersecurity, or computer science in general. Go ahead and dive right in!
